Description	In 1995 The Dean and Margaret Lesher Foundation donated 24 bronze sculptures to the Contra Costa County Library System. The Foundation was bequeathed an extensive artwork collection from the late Dean Lesher. Mr. Lesher was an avid collector of western art and a prominent figure in the county until his death in 1993. The bronze sculptures are magnificent renderings of the Old West, American Patriotism and many honor our Native American roots as well. The sculptures were distributed to the various branch libraries in the Contra Costa Library system, where they remain on permanent display. A signed work is on display at the Pleasant Hill Library.
