Dear Sir
I write this letter to you informing you that I intended to go ot Mexico perhaps on the 15th [illegible] and would like to give my deposition concerning any matters which you may need in the Bernie or Dent suits.  I have run over the records and have all conveyances made by Dent of the property acquired from Peralta and should you need any others I recommend you to see Mr Albert Thompson of Oakland he is a fine searcher and my intimate friend.  I send the enclosed Deed that you may explain the same to Crisanto Peralta and make him understand that it is only a quit claim which they agreed to sign when I was in Mexico to my friend Mr Metzger I shall ask them no recurrence ration for whatever I may have done for them.  When the deed is signed ^ by both I would ask you as a special favor to send it to the recorders office where Captain Metzger will call for it when he arrives in San Francisco.

Should you want my deposition please say when and upon what points I can give the same.
