Leon Urbino being duly sworn says that he is an Interpreter and interprets Spanish into English and English into Spanish; that he knows & has known Ygnacio Cibrian the Plff in the Case of Ygnacio Cibrian vs Juan Manso & Pio Pico for about two years that on the 21st day of May AD 1855 the said Cibrian came to his said Interpreters residence in the town of Martinez County of Contra Costa and requested this affiant to go with said Cibrian to the Clerk's Office in said County of Contra Costa for the purpose of interpreting a Summons then issued by the Clerk of the District Court of the 7th Judicial District, in said County of Contra Costa; wherein one Juan Manso & Pio Pico were plaintiffs and Ygnacia Cibrian and Jose Ramon Carillo were defendants  Said affiant went with Said Cibrian to said Clerks Office and then and there truly and correctly interpreted Said Summons to Said Cibrian and that at the request of Said Cibrian an indorsement was made on said Summons then and there waiving a copy and Service of Said Summons under which this affiant at the request of Said Cibrian
