Merry Renk, artist and goldsmith, 1921-2012, held exhibitions in Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, Oakland, and Fort Wayne. The sculpture was created in 1966 and is currrently mounted outside of the Ygnacio Valley Library, by the main entrance.
